Glass Plant Batch Silo

The 47 foot diameter by 134 foot tall slip formed silo included a freight elevator appendage slipped to 160 feet. The silo is divided into 11 perimeter cells and one 24 foot diameter center cell. The cell walls start at 48 feet above the foundation. The silo walls also support five structural steel and concrete floors along with their material processing equipment. This structure has a concrete roof, concrete machine room floor in penthouse and concrete roof on the elevator penthouse. In addition to the silo, J-Sons Inc. scope of work included the 49 inch thick foundation, three material receiving pits, rail receiving building foundation and floor, 18 foot retaining wall and mixed and bad batch concrete buildings.

The silo is divided into 14 perimeter cells and one 24 foot diameter center cell that is split into two cells. The cell walls start at 48 feet above the foundation. The silo walls also support four structural steel and concrete floors along with their material processing equipment. This structure has a concrete roof, concrete machine room floor in penthouse and concrete roof on the penthouse.

The 40 foot diameter by 121 foot tall slip formed silo is divided into 8 perimeter cells and one 23 foot diameter center cell. The interior cell walls start 51 feet above the foundation. There is a freight elevator appendage on the exterior of the silo. The silo walls also support four structural steel and concrete floors along with material processing equipment. The concrete block elevator penthouse sets on the appendage slip walls and supports a concrete machinery room floor and concrete roof. The top of the silo structure has a concrete roof.
