iiiJ-Sons Incorporated's evolution into the design and construction of the modern era grain elevator started over 30 years ago. We have spent many years building a reputation of value and trust with our customers. iiiOne of our most recent ventures included the design and construction of 22 large inland grain terminals for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, which required the slipping of 44 individual structures over a 30-month period. This involved the successful production of over 3000 drawings and the placement of 180,000 cubic yards of slip-formed concrete. The new facilities are part of the SWP's Project Horizon, designed to increase efficiency by expanding storage capacities and integrating cleaning, drying, and storage operations. iiiThis massive upgrading of Canadian grain-handling facilities was completed nearly a year ahead of schedule and 5% under budget.
